- A galactic war breaks out in Helldivers 2 as gamers band together to fight against Automatons and Terminids.
- A large and active community of Helldivers 2 players has formed, each contributing their own special brand of content and challenges.
Legendary animator Genndy Tartakovsky’s classic work is homaged in this fantastic fan animation that brings the universes of Helldivers 2 and Star Wars: Clone Wars together. Because there are so many fights against killer robots in both Helldivers 2 and the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, it’s hardly surprising that a creative fan would find a way to merge the two series. The greatest approach to fusing the universes, though, may lie in this animated short that depicts Tartakovsky’s vision of Super Earth’s galactic conflict.
The short film, shared by creator BNBaku2 to X (previously Twitter), alludes to “Chapter 23” of Star Wars: Clone Wars, in which Clone Trooper Captain Fordo single-handedly fends off a swarm of Super Battle Droids.
Average Helldivers 2 gameplay but it's animated in the style of Genndy Tartakovskys 2003 Clone Wars.

As the killer robots sneak up on the hill they’re hiding behind, a Helldiver takes Fordo’s position in BNBaku2 and blasts away at a slew of Automatons. All of the elements, including the automatons and weapons, were created from scratch in Blender and Goo-engine, and the developer made it apparent that they were referencing Tartakovsky’s work in the choreography, art style, and movements.
Participation in the Galactic War Is Essential for Helldivers 2 Players

Helldivers 2’s intergalactic conflict is one of its most distinctive features, despite the game’s outward appearance of being a typical third-person multiplayer shooter. In the grand scheme of things, the Helldivers are battling the Terminids and Automatons for control of the cosmos in an effort to provide freedom to every planet that they can reach, all in the name of Super Earth. Joel, the Game Master at Arrowhead Studios, controls the enemy forces and directs the course of the conflict, therefore there is no player against player aspect and the community must cooperate to defeat them.
A Great Community Is Already Existing In Helldivers 2!

A large and committed player base has already formed for Helldivers 2, and many of them are contributing to the game’s universe expansion, even if the game is still in its early days. An ardent supporter even went to the trouble of making a real-life news program specifically for Super Earth, updating players on the latest developments in the fight on all the most competitive planets. For the sake of requesting new weapons and things, some players are setting seemingly unattainable goals, such as killing adversaries solely with the melee assault. This keeps the gaming fast-paced, interesting, and fun.
