Dallas Liu, who plays Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation, was recently featured in the live-action rendition of Avatar: The Last Airbender that was released by Netflix. Liu’s fascination in fiery characters appears to have been sparked during the course of this job. During an interview with Nerdist, Liu expressed his preference for playing Pyro in the Marvel Cinematic Universe rather than Iceman. He cited the visual attraction of fire in battle scenes as the reason for his decision.
When Liu was asked about his experience practicing firebending for the film Avatar: The Last Airbender, he revealed his thoughts by saying, “We’re bending these elements, and obviously, that doesn’t exist in real life.” Therefore, we were given the freedom to express our creativity in the manner in which we desired it to appear. We were given the opportunity to use our imaginations to visualize what these bending strikes would look like and how the fire would rotate because of them.
A character named Pyro, who was previously represented by Aaron Stanford in the X-Men film series, is going to make another appearance on the big screen in the future feature that will be a collaboration between Deadpool and Wolverine. Despite this, it is possible that a new version of Pyro may be released in the near future because the Marvel Cinematic Universe is aiming to include characters from the X-Men franchise.
