tvN’s “Queen of Tears” has released two family teasers that are very different from one another, and they star Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won.
“Queen of Tears” is a love story that will describe the remarkable, thrilling, and amusing love story of a married couple who manage to endure a catastrophe and stay together against all obstacles. The story will be written by Park Ji Eun, who has written “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” and “The Producers.” Kim Ji Won will play the role of Baek Hyeon Woo, the legal director of the conglomerate Queens Group, while Kim Soo Hyun will play Baek Hyeon Woo’s wife, Hong Hae In, the chaebol heiress who is renowned as the “queen” of Queens Group’s department stores.
When it comes to the manner in which the Queens Group and the Yongduri family enjoy their meal, the recently published family posters and teasers illustrate the distinctions between the two groups. A magnificent setting is provided for the Queens Group supper, during which the family indulges in a superb dining experience that is appropriate of the most powerful chaebol family in Korea. “You said you would never make me cry,” Baek Hyeon Woo says aggressively in the teaser. “You said you would never make me cry.”
Baek Hyeon Woo is depicted in the poster as being in the background of his wife, Hong Hae In. The only person who is standing up without a chair is Baek Hyeon Woo, and the text that is located behind him reads, “Supermarket prince who has been left to Queens Group.”
The Yongduri family supper is a lively and friendly affair, which stands in stark contrast to the atmosphere of Hong Hae In’s family meal. The teaser, which is surrounded by warm light, creates an environment that is heartwarming as the family prepares an expensive supper for their daughter-in-law. The menu includes dishes such as galbijjim, which is braised short ribs, and baeksuk, which is boiling chicken. On the other hand, Hong Hae In appears bewildered and asks, “You’re leaving me here like this?”
The teaser draws even more attention to Hong Hae In’s uneasiness and perplexity, as she sits rigidly, in contrast to Baek Hyeon Woo, who is enthusiastically consuming his food. Another factor to take into consideration is that Hong Hae In is the only person dressed in formal attire, while everyone else is dressed in comfortable clothing. According to the phrase that is displayed on the poster, “Queens Group’s Queen who has been dropped in Yongduri.”
“Queen of Tears” will make its debut on March 9 at 9:20 p.m. Korean Standard Time.
